For your dream day we offer you exclusive use of the mansion house, its magnificent state rooms and the abbot's great hall, which was built in 1488. The grounds are all yours to enjoy, and they provide a wonderful setting for your photographs.

We are licensed for civil weddings - and for naming ceremonies and the reaffirmation of vows.

The abbey church is there for you, too, by arrangement.

Milton Abbey is, truly, at its best in all seasons. At the height of summer it is cool and spacious, the landscape ravishing. In the depths of winter it is never stark while, indoors, great log fires roar and crackle. Always, it is otherworldly.

Your wedding day is a very special day for us, too. We have just one chance to get it right for you - and we leave nothing to chance. We host weddings only in school holidays, so we come to you fresh and focused. For the staff, your wedding is a highlight. You will be impressed by their attention to detail, and you will be charmed by their naturalness and their willingness to go out of their way to look after you. She can advise you. She will support you. She will remind you. You can contact her any time. And you will pay nothing for this service.
